Summer Youth Exchange on Lake Svitiaz

Thinking about what to do this summer? Want to spend a fun and exciting time swimming, laughing, playing sports, partying and hanging out with a bunch of cool guys and girls from all over Europe?

Then think no more and come join us for the greatest summer vacation on the largest and most beautiful lake of Ukraine – Svitiaz! This is one of the most popular summer destinations for tourists and locals to relax and have a great time. You will be amazed by the beautiful scenery, crystal clean water, and great, friendly atmosphere! Lake Svitiaz, the largest and cleanest lake of Ukraine, is located in North-Western Ukraine – not far from the Polish border.

What we are offering:

-  We will stay at a beautiful two or three-storey private cottage. The entire cottage will be ours including the surrounding terrace, sports fields, orchard.

-  The cottage has 2-, 3-, and 4-person rooms with comfortable beds, shelves, and closets

-  Bathrooms, showers, hot and cold water are also included

- Completely furnished kitchen with refrigerators, microwave ovens, electric teapot, cupboards, dishes and silverware, where we are welcome to cook if we wish so

- 3 meals a day will be served and you will get a chance to try out many meals from the delicious traditional Ukrainian cuisine

-  Satellite TV, VHS player, and DVD player will be available

-  There is parking space for cars right next to the cottage if you choose to come by car

-  There will be an automatic washing machine on site if you need to wash any of your clothes

-  A billiard room will be completely at our disposal – you can play billiards at any time of day or night

-  Indoor ping-pong, and outdoor badminton and volleyball courts will also be available at our cottage

-  We will live next to a pine forest, where we’ll go hiking as well as have a treasure hunt at

-  We will have an outdoor terrace at our disposal, as well as a place to make shish kebobs, or sit by the camp fire at night

-  The cottage is only a 7-10 minute walk away from the beach

We are preparing a nice, relaxing, and at the same time exciting and fun program for you. We will spend a lot of time swimming in the lake, playing beach volleyball, playing lots of water games as well as just sun bathing and enjoying the sun. We will also have a ton of fun at the private cottage, where we will organize international evenings, movies nights on a huge screen, discos, games, treasure hunts and lots of partying.

Project dates: July 13 - July 18, 2009 (6 days)

Participating Countries: All European countries are eligible

Participation Fee: 170 Euro per person

Accommodation with all amenities, 3 meals a day, local transportation, and local activities will all be provided. Transportation to Ukraine is the responsibility of the person traveling, however we will do all we can to help you make proper travel arrangements, meet you at your port of arrival and accompany you to the place where the Youth Exchange will take place.

Once the entire group has been formed, we will contact each one of you individually and help you make your travel arrangements, answer any additional questions you may have, and help you get ready for your vacation.
